Lessware welcomes ideas from collaborators and the public while keeping humans accountable for outcomes. AI assists internal review only when submitters explicitly consent. AI does not autonomously commit Lessware to product, policy, or business decisions.
Idea review process
Submit → Acknowledge → Screen → AI analysis (if consented) → Human review → Outcome
| Stage | What happens |

| Submit | Contributor completes the public form with required fields and explicit permissions. |
| Acknowledge | Lessware confirms receipt. Acknowledgment does not imply acceptance, prioritization, or agreement with the content. |
| Screen | Lessware checks for prohibited content, secrets, personal information, spam, and abuse. Violations may be declined without publication. |
| AI analysis (optional) | If the contributor granted explicit AI-processing permission, Lessware may use AI tools to summarize, categorize, or compare the idea. No idea is eligible for AI processing without stored consent. |
| Human review | A Lessware team member reviews the submission—and any AI-assisted notes—as input to a decision. Humans remain accountable for all outcomes. |
| Outcome | The submission is published (when permitted and suitable), declined, deferred for later consideration, or converted into a roadmap candidate. |
If AI processing fails or is unavailable, the submission remains in human review. AI failure never auto-publishes or auto-declines an idea.

Lessware is pre-launch. When contributors grant publication permission and Lessware chooses to publish suitable submissions, accepted ideas will appear here. We do not fabricate example submissions.
Prohibited submissions

| Financial records | Bank statements, transaction exports, account numbers, balances, or other personal financial data |
| Credentials | Passwords, API keys, tokens, or authentication secrets |
| Confidential business information | Non-public trade secrets, unreleased partner terms, or proprietary third-party data you are not authorized to share |
| Security vulnerabilities | Use the private Security Contact channel so issues can be investigated safely |
| Patent-sensitive or legally restricted material | Content you cannot grant the permissions requested on the form, or that may impair legal positions |
Contributor expectations
Contributors retain their original expression. Lessware grants only the permissions selected on the form. Unless a separate written agreement exists, Lessware does not promise adoption, compensation, exclusivity, or confidentiality. Submission does not create a partnership, employment, or contractor relationship.
